Hunt Museum
Holding over 2,000 artifacts from Ireland and abroad, including pieces from the Stone Age, ancient Egypt, Bronze Age, ancient jewellery, enamels, crucifixes and artwork by Pablo Picasso, Pierre Auguste Renoir, Roderic O'Conor, Jack B. Yeats, Robert Fagan and Henry Moore, the Hunt Museum's collection is rich and diverse. A journey through the Hunt Museum collection is a journey through time for the curious visitor.
It is housed in the former Custom House, a distinguised 18th century building in its own right, designed by Italian architect Davis Ducart in 1765 in the Palladian style.
Visitors can also avail of the restaurant for lunch and snacks and relax while looking out over the river Shannon.
The Hunt Museum is located on Rutland Street in central Limerick city. Click the map pin icon to view the location on a map.
