Cashel Folk Village Museum
Cashel Folk Village Museum is one of the region's hidden gems. It packs a lot of history into a little space. With artifacts and displays covering the Great Famine, the 1916 Rising, the War of Independence as well as an old forge, wishing well, tinker's caravan and Penal Chapel, to list just some, there is so much to see.
The museum has some prime examples of thatched cottages, and visitors will feel like they are going back several hundred years as they walk about and view the exhibits.
Cashel Folk Village Museum is located in Cashel on Moor Lane, about 250 metres from the Rock of Cashel. Click the map pin icon to view the location on a map.
